Presenter: Ryan Dickie, Forest Extension Professional with the Family Forest Network

Join us for a hands-on introduction to some simple, low cost silviculture techniques for woodland stewards! Learn about how to plant tree seedlings, how to use a pruning saw, and basic concepts and tools for thinning in our native Wabanaki-Acadian Forest. This event is the first of NSWOOA's Ecological Forest Management in a Changing Climate: A Workshop Series for Forest Stewards.
