Members and friends of the Nova Scotia Woodlot Owners and Operators Association are invited to attend our 2024 Annual General Meeting on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Truro Nova Scotia Community College Campus (36 Arthur Street, Truro, NS) in the Forrester Hall Theatre.
This is an annual meeting that you won’t want to miss. It will be a great way to learn more about the Family Forest
Network, which is conducting a province-wide pilot of ecologically sensitive forest practices on woodlands like yours.
NSWOOA is leading the 11-organization network.
The AGM will focus on what FFN is trying to accomplish, how we are implementing it, and why you might want to be
involved. You’ll get a chance to see videos of some of the work that we’ve done, and hear an update on FFN’s progress
and challenges.

Registration starts at 9:15 am, with the AGM running from 10 am to 2 pm. To help us plan for meals, advance registration is strongly encouraged before May 3, 2024.

- Current Regular NSWOOA members: Free (If your membership has lapsed, you can renew for just $50 per year. This is a voting membership, which is available only to people who own or manage small woodlands.)
- Associate members and friends: $25 (Includes a non-voting Associate membership in NSWOOA. This is a great way to support the work of NSWOOA in promoting sustainable forest management.)

- NSWOOA is an independent organization of woodlot owners and operators achieving prosperity, stewardship, and solidarity through the practice of ecologically, socially, and economically sustainable forestry.
